Fun with Glass
In a hands-on glassworking adventure, you and your group can shape molten, honey-like glass into flowers, fuse colorful pieces of glass into a suncatcher, or sandblast a drinking glass with an original design.
Tell me more
We invite your group of 10 or more adults or children to participate in a hands-on activity. Following an introduction to The Studio, participants may sample a variety of glassworking techniques and create their own glass objects. You can make a flower at the furnace, fuse suncatchers in the kiln, and sandblast items in our coldworking shop. Fun with Glass may be tailored to your group's experience level and expertise. Experienced glass artists will provide personal instruction for each activity.
Can anyone register for Fun with Glass?
Fun with Glass is great for all types of groups, including school groups, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, birthday parties, family reunions, office parties, and corporate team building and recognition. We also have a spacious meeting room at The Studio where your group can have a catered gathering after the hands-on activities to complete the experience. Let us help coordinate a special event with drinks, appetizers, or dinner. (Refreshments not included in prices.)
Can I fit it into my schedule?
Opportunities are available to schedule an event throughout the year. Events range between 1 and 3 hours in length depending on the size of the group and the number of activities planned.
How much does it cost?
$32.00 per participant, minimum of 10 participants.
Additional fee for shipping (some items must cool overnight).
